Why Early Access?
Northbridge's residents are very sure of themselves. We'd rather listen to feedback. Early Access will let us improve how the investigation, social platforms, videos and music work together, while refining usability and stability with help from players.
What will be included in Early Access?
The planned Early Access version includes twelve fictional social platforms, the SoundArc music portal, the Endstation investigation, and a large collection of profiles, posts, videos, music and conversations. A preview of Northbridge's city view will also be included.
What is the current state of the game?
In the current development build, the core social-platform experience and the Endstation investigation are playable. We are continuing to improve the interface, performance and overall experience. The people may be unreasonable; the interface should not be.
The city view remains a preview. Character conversations currently use authored content; freely generated AI conversations and multiplayer are not available.
How long will Social Disaster be in Early Access?
We have not set a fixed Early Access duration or a full-release date. Timing will depend on stability, development progress and player feedback. Our priority is a reliable, enjoyable experience.
How is the full version expected to differ?
Our focus is on refining the existing experience, improving stability and usability, and developing the game further with player feedback. Specific additions and release plans will be announced as they take shape. When Early Access launches, please base your purchase on the content and features available at that time.
Will the price change after Early Access?
The Early Access base price will be USD 19.99, with regional pricing. We currently expect the full-release base price to be USD 24.99 or USD 29.99. The final price has not been decided.
How often will the game be updated?
We plan to release updates as improvements and fixes are ready. There is no fixed update schedule at this stage; stability and player feedback will help guide our priorities.
Will my progress be saved between updates?
The Early Access version will save your progress locally and support Epic Games cloud saves. Compatibility with every future Early Access update is not guaranteed, particularly when underlying game systems change. Cloud syncing does not guarantee that an older save will work with every future version.

Will I have access to the product during the entire Early Access phase?
Yes. Players will have full access to Social Disaster throughout the entire Early Access phase. When the game leaves Early Access, that access carries over to the full version at no additional cost. This also applies to players who activate an Early Access key.
