Starfarer is a cooperative 2D space RPG set in a living galaxy. Fly between star systems, trade goods, customize your ship, and follow stories shaped by the people you meet. Set out alone or share a galaxy with friends.

Step beyond the airlock

Dock at spaceports, walk through towns, and meet the people who give each world its character. Take contracts, follow local stories, trade between colonies, or find a plot and build a home of your own.

Choose your captain. Find your own way.

Create a captain from one of four peoples and make your way through the galaxy. Build a modular ship around your play style, take on trade routes and contracts, and decide who to help when local stories draw you in.

Bring friends. Face the unknown.

Explore solo or team up online. Fight in space and on the ground, pursue dangerous hunts, and help your crew through unexpected encounters. Your galaxy is saved between sessions, so you can return to your journey together.
