Why does the game not open when I invite friends via the friends list on Epic?

Epic social overlay invitations are currently unsupported in Starmasons. There is a separate friend invite functionality from a Starmasons lobby. Your friends need to be in the main menu to receive an invitation. Another way to join up is to provide your friends the unique lobby code from inside your hosted lobby. It can be used to join with code from the main menu.

What is included in Early Access?

The Early Access includes practically all the content. The main reason for the early access phase is to gain feedback from a bigger player base about technical aspects concerning performance, stability and assessing the gameplay dynamics in case we see the need to make balancing adjustments.

How long will the game be in Early Access?

We estimate the game will be in Early Access for a period of 2–4 weeks depending on player activity and the range of adjustments we see fit based on player feedback and technical logs. We will announce the end date for the Early Access period no less than a week in advance. Either we have the full version ready at that point or the game will be unavailable for a short period of time. Hopefully no more than a week or two. We promise to get it back up ASAP.

How often will you be updating the game?

It will depend on the severity of updates needed. If something game-breaking occurs we will release a patch as soon as we have it resolved. However, if everything goes according to plan we expect no more than one or two patches throughout the Early Access period, so maybe a patch every 1–2 weeks.

Will the price change when the game leaves Early Access?

Not necessarily, but most likely. However, anyone who participates in the Early Access phase will retain their access to the game after release. The game is intentionally slim on the content side, so the price will be in the lowest ranges. It still took a lot of time and money to put together, so getting some of the expenses back would greatly help us on our way forward.

Can I provide feedback and bug reports?
