You can play, progress, and earn in the game without a wallet, and playing the game through the Epic Game Launcher does not offer a way to directly connect a wallet. Connecting a wallet must be done on our website (Opens in new tab) if you want to interact with the blockchain. The supported wallets are from the Solana Blockchain.

Yes, you are able to enter and play without interacting with the blockchain beyond the initial wallet setup. Stellar Subterranean utilizes the Solana blockchain for all in-game transactions. The move to create Stellar Subterranean on the Solana blockchain was a decision to pursue efficiency and maintain an environmentally conscious focus. Solana’s censorship-resistant proof-of-history consensus mechanism means the security of the network does not depend on high energy usage (in contrast to proof-of-work blockchains). This allows Solana transactions to use less energy than two Google searches.
