ABOUT THIS DLC

Experience Hamburg’s subway operations from a completely new perspective!

With the new battery locomotive AL1, the network expands to include exciting tasks beyond the regular lines.

For the first time, you take on the role of a driver who looks behind the scenes of daily operations – into areas usually reserved for technical staff. In five new, authentically designed scenarios, you accompany challenging assignments involving construction work, vehicle transports, and special logistical tasks.

Support major projects, tow defective DT5 trains, deliver new vehicles, and prepare for large events. With the AL1, you’re deployed wherever flexibility and precision are required. Thanks to its powerful battery, the AL1 is not dependent on the power rail and opens up entirely new areas of operation within the Hamburg network.

For the first time, you’ll gain access to previously unreachable sections of track, including the Saarlandstraße track maintenance workshop – an area where technology, planning, and craftsmanship come together. There you can shunt the LB6 trolleys with various loads, manually switch points, and plan your own routes.

In addition to regular service, you’ll experience the technical processes that make the smooth operation of Hamburg’s elevated railway possible. Each mission presents new challenges – from precise shunting work and time pressure to complex operations involving multiple vehicles.

The AL1 DLC brings you closer to the reality of everyday subway operations than ever before and shows that behind every trip on the line lies a sophisticated system of logistics and teamwork.
