Why Early Access?

We love building games together with the community. Early Access gives us the opportunity to learn from your experiences, listen to your feedback, and let players help shape The Golden Caravan as it moves towards its full release.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

We do not currently have a fixed Early Access duration. We do not intend to remain in Early Access indefinitely, but developing a quality game and properly responding to player feedback both take time. Some dishes simply need to cook longer than others, and we would rather give The Golden Caravan the time it needs than rush it out of the kitchen.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

Balancing will be one of our main priorities during Early Access, and this is an area where player feedback will be especially valuable.

We also plan to expand the game with more items, mechanics, and a greater variety of card encounters. Depending on development and community feedback, we would also like to introduce additional enemies, bosses, and levels. These plans may evolve as we learn what players enjoy most and where the game has the greatest room to grow.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

The Early Access version is fully playable and includes the complete main storyline, which can be experienced from beginning to end. During Early Access, our focus will be on balancing, refinement, variety, and expanding the experience based on player feedback.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

We have not made a final decision yet. The price may increase when The Golden Caravan leaves Early Access, particularly if the game grows substantially during development. We will communicate any planned price change in advance.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

The community is the reason we are choosing Early Access. We invite players to share their thoughts through our Discord, Steam Discussions, and social media channels.

We will be listening closely to feedback about balance, mechanics, encounters, progression, and the overall experience. Your feedback is like birdsong to us, and it will help us make The Golden Caravan the best game it can be.

What is included in Early Access?

The full game with the final content.

Will I have access to the product during the entire Early Access phase?

No, you will keep the access after the full release of the game.
