How can I create a Torque Motorsport Account?

Torque Drift 2 requires a Torque Motorsport account to play. Creating a Torque Motorsport account is a simple process.
To get started, follow these steps:

1. Sign up
torquemotorsport.io/account/dashboard (Opens in new tab) and click the "Sign Up" option to create a new account.

Provide a valid email address to ensure you receive important notifications. It's crucial to have access to this email address as it will be the primary channel for communication with our team.

2. Verify
Once you've submitted your email address, we will send you a verification code. Enter this code on the website to complete the account creation process.

3. Enter your details
After entering the verification code, you will be prompted to choose a username, set a password to secure your account, and specify your Country/Region.

4. Read Terms and Conditions and Create
Follow the link at the bottom of the sign up page to access and read our account Terms and Conditions.

To finalize the process, simply click on the "Create" button.

5. Congratulations!
Your Torque Motorsport account is now successfully created.

How can I reset my password?

If you have forgotten your password or need to reset it for any reason, you can do so by going to your dashboard, then clicking the "Reset Password" button. You will be prompted to enter your email address to receive an email with a verification code to reset your password.

When will the full game be released?

Torque Drift 2 is being built in an iterative way, with features and updates being released frequently for you to play, enjoy and give feedback on. We believe the game may never be truly 'Finished' as we continue improving it as voted suggested by the community.

Though the core feature set that we have identified we plan to finish by the end of 2024.

Yes, in-app purchases can be made with an in-game currency or via a third party.

What payment platform is used to facilitate these purchases? Do you use Epic Games’ platform or a 3rd-party (including your own) payment system?

Torque Drift 2's content purchases utilised the Torque Motorsport store and a third party payment platform. Content purchased is synced with your TM.io account to be accessed from within the game.

Will this paid version of Torque Drift 2 include NFTs or integrate blockchain technology?

No, the integration of blockchain technology is exclusive only to the Demo version of Torque Drift 2.

Why is Torque Drift 2 moving from free-to-play to a paid model?

After careful consideration and monitoring of our free-to-play model, we have determined that in order to maintain the level of quality and feature set we set out to build, we will need to transition to a paid model. This will enable us to deliver continuous updates, new content, and improvements over time.

What’s included in the demo version?

The demo version provides a great way to try Torque Drift 2 before purchasing the full version. Here’s what’s included:

Access up to Player Level 5 (unlocks Drift Skills, Freestyle, shop, performance upgrades, and tuning).

Limited garage space with up to 3 cars.

If I have progress in the free Epic Games version, will it carry over?

Yes, all your progress will transfer to both the paid and demo versions. Any cars or parts you have will remain in your garage, even if you continue playing on the demo.
