Truck World: Australia

What is included in Early Access?

The Early Access version features the Eyre Peninsula with 9 towns, one player-owned truck, truck upgrades, and the first two base upgrades.
You can refuel your truck manually, connect trailers and handle their equipment outside the cab, and complete unlimited delivery contracts of two types: full trailers and individual cargo loads on your own flat-top trailer.
The first two story missions are also available.

What is the current state of the game?

Truck World: Australia is fully playable, but still in active development.
We are not currently aware of any widespread critical crashes, although some bugs may occur. We're working to fix them as quickly as possible.
The current version includes one truck, limited upgrades, and the Eyre Peninsula map. More trucks, additional trailer interactions, base development, and traffic fines are still in development.
The main handcrafted content takes approximately 3 hours to complete, but repeatable delivery contracts offer dozens of hours of additional gameplay.

Will I have access to the game throughout Early Access?

Yes! Once purchased, the game will remain yours throughout Early Access and after the full release. All updates, including version 1.0, are included at no additional cost.

How long will Truck World: Australia remain in Early Access?

We expect Early Access to last approximately one year, possibly longer.
The full release will depend on completing planned features, improving the game's technical quality, and incorporating player feedback. We don't want to rush an unfinished game.

How often will the game be updated?

We currently aim to release:

  • Hotfixes: As soon as fixes are ready.
  • Smaller updates: Approximately once a month.
  • Major content updates: Approximately once every three months.

These are estimated schedules and may change depending on development progress.

What new content is planned during Early Access?

Our current priorities include:

  • New trucks: Two additional trucks are already in development.
  • Map expansion: New roads from Port Augusta to Marla and along the Hawker - Marree - Marla route.
  • More cargo and trailers: New cargo types, trailers, and hands-on interactions.
  • Base development: Additional upgrades for your trucking business.
  • New systems: Traffic violations, fines, and other gameplay improvements.

More features are planned, and priorities may change based on community feedback.

Will my progress carry over between updates?

We'll do our best to maintain save compatibility. However, some major updates may require starting a new game due to technical changes.
We'll try to avoid this and inform players in advance whenever possible.

Will the price change after Early Access?

We haven't made a final decision yet. The price may change depending on the game's scope and content at full release.

How can I report bugs and share feedback?

Player feedback is one of the main reasons we're launching in Early Access!
You can contact us through:

Your feedback will directly influence our development priorities, helping us improve existing mechanics and decide what to expand or redesign.

Will the game receive updates after Early Access?

We intend to continue improving and expanding Truck World: Australia after version 1.0.
Our current priority is delivering a complete game, and we'll share more about post-launch plans as development progresses.

Does Truck World: Australia support steering wheels and controllers?

Yes! The game supports keyboard and mouse, gamepads, and a wide range of steering wheels, including devices from Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec, Moza, and Simucube.
Customizable controls, a wheel setup wizard, and Force Feedback are supported.
Compatibility may vary by device, and we'll continue improving controller support throughout Early Access.
