Why Early Access?

We are a small team of highly motivated developers and want to make sure our vision of a city builder set in the pioneering age of the North American frontier comes to life in the best quality possible.

By involving you as a gamer in the process, we want to make sure, that we hit the spots and craft a game that players will love and play for ages. Developing and refining the game based on your feedback and reactions will be important to us!

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

Our plan is to stay in Early Access for about a year. We have lots of ideas on the table, but also want to be as flexible as possible to adjust to your needs. Some features may be completed sooner, while others are more complex and finding the time to accommodate those features in quality will be essential for our design process.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

We see Early Access as a collaborative process, and we are excited to see how your feedback will shape the story of Wild West Pioneers. We know that there is a lot of work to do and for the full version, we are envisioning new production chains, more advanced buildings and structures, new means of transportation, random events and map variety.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

We will launch into Early Access with the feature scope layed out on the store page, this includes a variety of upgradable buildings, multiple biomes, a world map that interconnects multiple settlements, each of which populated with fully simulated settlers. Appoint citizen roles, set up expeditions to scout for new points of interest and make sure to lead your community to prosperity.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

As a token of our appreciation for your contributions during the Early Access, we are offering the game at a lower price compared to the full release. We really value your feedback and dedication to making this become a standout city builder game.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

We will be active on our social media channels and Discord server to keep you updated and process your valuable input. We will also be monitoring the community closely and make sure that even the smallest bits of feedback get considered during the development process.

We will also create devlogs and provide you with insights on our decisions. We can hardly wait to start this journey with you, and we are looking to pay back the trust you placed in us by being open minded, communicative and as helpful as we can be.
