A day at The Last Resort
You and up to three friends inherit The Last Resort, the worst monster zoo in the world. Each day you ride the truck into the wilds to catch new monsters. Then you open the gates and keep everything fed, fenced and happy while the visitors pour in. Every monster has one simple, silly rule, and something always breaks loose.
A day at The Last Resort
-
Truck Run (5 minutes). Follow the tracks through one of six biomes, toss bait, time your net for a Perfect catch, then haul the wriggling bundle to the truck before Dusty sounds the horn.
-
Zoo Wave (5 minutes). Open the gates. Feed the pens, shovel up after the monsters, mend fences, restock the snack stands, scrub the restrooms and net the escapees before they chomp a visitor.
-
Night Shift (no timer). Build and move pens, plan tomorrow's meals, hatch eggs and spend Field Notes on new tools, fences and habitats.

36 monsters, 36 rules
36 monsters, 36 rules
Miss a Blorp with your net and it splits in two. Honkbills snatch whatever you're holding and run. The Chompbox poses as a trash can and swallows anything left on the ground. Wake a Snoozegator and you'll be dodging its charges. Learn the rules, then make them work for you: 18 chain reactions let two monsters' rules collide on purpose.
From one star to five
Inspector Grisk reviews your zoo every week. Meet his goals to raise The Last Resort from one star to five and open up new biomes, from the Grumbling Caldera to Crystal Hollow, along with stronger fences, new tools and a bigger truck. Your Keeper Level climbs to 30 and earns monster statues for every zoo you build.

Rare monsters you can prove
Rare monsters you can prove
Online runs can turn up Rares, Super Rares, Epics, Legendaries and Enchanteds, handed out worldwide by the Zoodemonium registry. Epics, Legendaries and Enchanteds are numbered and capped each season: Season 1 has 100 numbered captures of each of its six Legendaries. Every rare catch comes with a certificate signed by the registry, which anyone can check on the registry website.
Missed out on a numbered Legendary? Legendary Expeditions let any crew take on the encounter again and bring home a Research Cast for the zoo.

Bring your crew, or go solo
Bring your crew, or go solo
Up to four keepers share the truck and the zoo, and friends can jump in at any time, even in the middle of a run. Share a join code to play together. A guest's rare goes home to the guest's own zoo, and before a run the host picks how the crew shares numbered rares.
Playing alone? Hire a Feeder, a Cleaner and a Fixer, pause whenever you like, and turn on Calm Mode for a gentler zoo.
Online or offline
The whole campaign, all the way to five stars, plays offline, and Common monsters are always out there. Go online for the registry's rare hunts, the Daily Dispatch, weekend world goals and Zoo Tours. Start the game from the Epic Games Launcher and it signs you in to the registry by itself.

How Zoodemonium is made
How Zoodemonium is made
Zoodemonium is my design. I came up with the monsters, the zoo and how it all plays, and I make the final call on everything that goes in. I'm a disabled veteran, and long hours of typing and sitting at a desk aren't possible for me, so I use AI as an assistive tool: it turns my designs into the game's code and into the art, working from my direction. I review and playtest every change before it ships. - Dale
Made with AI before release (nothing is generated while you play): the game's HD art, painted with an AI image model under my direction from the game artist's original designs of the monsters, keepers, staff and visitors, and from the earlier versions of the zoo, the six biomes, the items, effects and interface; my own character, from an AI-assisted character sheet; the logo, the title screen and this store art; tools written by AI that cut the art into the game's sprites and animate it; placeholder music and sound effects made by code the AI wrote, to be replaced by a composer's soundtrack; and the translations into seven languages, drafted with AI and being checked by native speakers.
