Aftertide is an open-world zombie survival game with Solo and online Co-op for up to four survivors. Explore a dangerous coastal world, gather supplies, complete missions and fight your way through the apocalypse—on foot, behind the wheel or from the air.

SOLO OR CO-OP — YOUR CALL

Choose Solo to explore on your own without Epic sign-in.
Choose Co-op and press Play Co-op to automatically search for a compatible expedition with room for another survivor. If no open team is available, your game hosts a joinable world. Other players can join until the team reaches four survivors; full expeditions are skipped.
Already signed into Epic at startup? Your sign-in is reused for Co-op. Players who continued offline can sign in when choosing Co-op instead.

STAY ALIVE. STAY SUPPLIED.

Manage health, hunger, thirst and rest. Search for food, water, ammunition and useful materials. Visit supply locations, collect enemy drops and watch for incoming resupply crates.
Complete missions and side objectives to earn XP and build persistent character levels. Gather materials, craft useful equipment and work toward shared expedition upgrades.

FIGHT YOUR WAY THROUGH

Switch between firearms and melee equipment, manage ammunition and reload under pressure. Aim, crouch, move and use your surroundings to escape dangerous encounters.
Zombie hordes, aggressive enemies, blood effects, hit reactions and ragdoll falls bring impact to combat. A beginner guide and separate basic solo training introduce shooting, reloading, supplies and driving.

TAKE THE WHEEL

Drive cars and motorcycles through the world. Watch fuel and vehicle condition, repair damage and use the road to escape a bad situation.
Vehicle impacts, suspension, passenger shooting and selected breakable roadside objects create more ways to deal with danger. In-game radio offers a brief break from the chaos outside.
Take to the air in a pilotable helicopter, use its missiles and spotlight, or jump out and deploy your glider.

A CHANGING COAST

Explore city streets and the surrounding landscape through changing weather and the day-night cycle. Rain, wet roads, reflections, interactive hydrants and breakable roadside objects change the feel of each supply run.
Regional ambience, wildlife, environmental details and dark humour give you reasons to keep exploring.

See connected survivors and their names, exchange in-game text messages and manage communication preferences through the session roster and chat-privacy controls.
Customize keyboard bindings, sensitivity, HUD scale and crosshair appearance.

MAKE YOUR SURVIVOR YOUR OWN

Choose a survivor appearance and equip the existing cosmetics included with the game—without an additional cosmetic purchase.

TUNE YOUR EXPERIENCE

Adjust graphics, audio and accessibility settings to suit your setup. Graphics options include resolution, quality presets, frame-rate caps, upscaling and supported ray-tracing features.
NVIDIA DLSS and frame generation require compatible Windows hardware and software. Available features and performance vary by system.

DEVELOPMENT STATUS

Aftertide is in active development. Features, animations, visuals, balance and performance are still being refined. Screenshots show Windows development-runtime gameplay and may differ from the final release. Online Co-op and Epic services in the updated build are still undergoing release validation and are not yet cleared for public release.
