What is included in Early Access?
Early Access launches with the complete Act I vertical slice. This includes the initial All Hallows Cemetary and Ashfamland sectors, core environmental perception mechanics, procedural MetaSound spatial audio, battery and power management loops, and foundational entity encounters. Subsequent updates will introduce expanded sectors, deeper narrative milestones, and additional mechanics leading to our full 1.0 commercial launch.
Is All Hallows a single-player or multiplayer game?
All Hallows is a dedicated single-player, narrative-driven psychological horror experience designed for deep atmospheric immersion and acoustic isolation. While asynchronous community features and shared-world telemetry may evolve over development, the core campaign is engineered exclusively for solo survival.
When will the game be released?
Early Access launches in October 2026 on the Epic Games Store, introducing the foundational Act I experience. The full 1.0 release and expanded content roadmap will follow in 2027 as community feedback and milestone updates roll out.
What engine is the game built in?
The game is built in Unreal Engine 5.8, utilizing Lumen, Nanite, and advanced procedural MetaSound pipelines to push the boundaries of photorealistic dread and uncompressed spatial audio.
Does the game include jump scares?
We avoid cheap, scripted shocks. All Hallows focuses on escalating psychological tension, acoustic paranoia, and perception-based entity behavior that tracks your line of sight and movement. If something catches you off guard, it’s because you missed the environmental and spatial audio cues warning you in the dark.
Is there combat in the game?
The Early Access experience emphasizes high-stakes evasion, defensive tools, stealth, and sonic puzzles—you are the hunted, not the hunter. While defensive mechanics and high-intensity confrontations expand in later chapters, survival begins with outsmarting the threats rather than overpowering them.
How long is the game?
The initial Early Access release offers approximately 45 to 90 minutes of dense, high-tension replayable gameplay focused on the foundational Act I loop, core sonic puzzles, and initial entity encounters. As subsequent chapters and expanded cathedral sectors roll out across Early Access milestones, the full 1.0 narrative campaign is targeting a 4 to 8 hour complete experience.
Will All Hallows support controller input?
Yes. All Hallows features native support for standard gamepads (including Xbox Series X|S and DualSense controllers) alongside standard keyboard and mouse configurations.
What platforms will the game be available on?
All Hallows launches in Early Access on Windows PC and macOS (with dedicated native Apple Silicon optimization). Additional platforms and console ecosystems will be evaluated as development progresses toward 1.0.
Does the game require an internet connection?
No. Once downloaded, the nightmare is entirely offline.
Can I livestream or make gameplay videos?
Absolutely. We fully permit and encourage streaming, Let’s Plays, and monetised playthroughs. All original audio and music is created specifically for All Hallows and cleared for content creators to stream without fear of copyright strikes. We love seeing how players react to the Harvest.
Does the game have multiple endings?
Yes. The overarching narrative features branching paths, hidden audio lore, and multiple narrative resolutions. How thoroughly you explore, stabilize environmental nodes, and navigate the shifting complex will directly influence how your story concludes across the full campaign.
What kind of game is All Hallows?
All Hallows is a high-fidelity psychological survival horror set within an oppressive brutalist squat. It emphasizes heavy atmospheric dread, directional spatial audio navigation, tactile feedback, and perception mechanics where the environment reacts to your line of sight. It is an intense, cerebral nightmare engineered to make you feel isolated and hunted.
What makes the audio design "audio-driven"?
Developed by a specialist in game audio design, All Hallows uses spatial audio as a core gameplay mechanic rather than passive background music. Powered by procedural MetaSounds and precise directional physics, you must rely on your ears to navigate total darkness, balance resonant frequencies, and detect entity movements. If you can hear the entity, it can hear you.
Why Early Access on Epic Games Store?
Early Access provides an active production runway to calibrate our procedural MetaSound audio systems, entity perception models, and hardware integrations alongside an engaged community. This iterative phase ensures balance, immersion, and stability are thoroughly tested ahead of our full 1.0 commercial launch.
Accessibility Options?
Accessibility features will expand actively throughout Early Access. The foundational release includes standard audio mix balancing and visual subtitles. Motion sickness toggles, visual contrast adjustments, and dedicated accessibility options are prioritized in our production roadmap, and we welcome community input at [email protected].
Who is developing the game?
All Hallows is developed by Aardvark Anteater Acoustics (AAA Games), a boutique independent studio dedicated to cutting-edge spatial sound design, tactile hardware integration, and atmospheric psychological survival.
What is the current state of the product?
The product is a stable, fully playable Act I experience with core movement, audio, interaction, and visual pipelines in place. Early Access is focused on actively refining gameplay balance, hardware calibration, and optimization while developing future narrative chapters.
Will I have access to the product during the entire Early Access phase?
Yes. Once purchased, you retain permanent, uninterrupted access to All Hallows throughout the Early Access phase and will automatically receive the full 1.0 release at no additional cost.
