Why Early Access?

At Amplitude Studios, we’ve always believed in the power of community-driven development. We were among the first studios to propose Early Access back in 2011 with ENDLESS™ Space. Regaining our independence in 2024 was crucial for us, as it allows us to involve our players in the development of our games through Early Access once again.

This approach gives us the opportunity to engage our passionate players in shaping ENDLESS™ Legend 2 from the ground up, ensuring we build on its strong legacy with the support of our long-term fans.

Players’ feedback will help us refine core mechanics, balance factions, enhance AI behavior, and polish the overall experience—just as it did with the original ENDLESS™ Legend. We want to ensure this sequel not only lives up to expectations, but surpasses them, and Early Access is key to making that happen.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

We've gotten great feedback from the community during Early Access that we're using to polish, bugfix, and improve the game. We don't yet have a set date for exiting Early Access, instead we're committed to ensuring we take the time needed to exceed expectations in enhancing and expanding the game.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

We plan for the full version of ENDLESS™ Legend 2 to include an additional playable faction, expanded endgame content, and a higher degree of polish across all gameplay systems. It will also feature balancing optimizations, refined UI/UX, and many improvements based on community feedback gathered during Early Access.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

The Early Access version includes core gameplay systems, narrative quests and victory conditions, functional diplomacy and combat mechanics, and a total of five playable major factions in both single and multiplayer modes.

While the experience is stable and enjoyable, not all content is final. Some visual assets, voiceovers, and balance elements are still in development, and players may encounter bugs, localization issues or placeholder elements as we continue to iterate. The UI will also continue to be updated based on player feedback.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

No, the price of the game will not change, even with a more complete and expanded content offering.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

Since the beginning of the game's development, we've been actively involving our VIP players and Insiders through our Amplifiers platform, forums and Discord (Opens in new tab). This engagement will continue during Early Access.

Players will have the opportunity to vote on design decisions, submit suggestions, play early builds, report bugs, and share tutorial videos to help fellow players. As with our previous games, and perhaps even more so this time, community feedback will play a central role in shaping ENDLESS™ Legend 2.
