Why Early Access?

As Farmer’s Dynasty (the predecessor) was significantly influenced by Early Access back then and received loads of helpful feedback from the community to improve this game along the way, we decided to continue this path also for Farmer’s Dynasty 2. FD2 will be similar to FD1 in many ways as we want to keep the beloved core of it, however, we are working to make a new approach and a fresh gaming experience while keeping the old charm.

To get this done right, we already took to our community and asked for their opinions since we first released the demo of FD2, with that feedback we moved along and shaped the game in a certain direction, still the game has room for improvement and ideas and that’s why we decided for early access to take the community once again right beside us in the tractor seat to drive together through this very new and peaceful countryside.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

The plan is to have a short Early Access period of up to 6 months. We already have a strong understanding of player desires and expectations from the previous game that we want to deliver on, while also assessing and integrating additional community feedback.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

The full game will differ in terms of story, quests, vehicles, general variety of features like free time activities and many more.

Planned features for the Early Access phase include the ability to meet a partner, start a family, get married, modding support and many other exciting additions.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

Currently we have a game which is already offering quests in both different timelines that tell the story of the game, a helpful tutorial that guides the player from the beginning, several vehicles that ease up the farming and forestry work, a load of friendly neighbourhood NPC’s that have always got something for you to do, a herd of lovely animals that you can take care of and many more little things that will make you feel busy and relaxed at the same time while playing.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

Yes, the price will be adjusted as soon as it gets fully released but before that, everyone has the chance to get the game for a lower price and be able to shape the future of it with us together.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

We will actively reach out to our players, take on some surveys, get feedback from the community, check comments on our social media and be actively involved in all aspects of communication around the game. Let’s make this journey a special one, working on it together, like they do on a prosperous farm!
