Why Early Access?
As an indie developer, I’ve finally decided to create my own game and wanted to release it on store as soon as possible. Early Access allows me to test InoLab Trials with real players, gather invaluable feedback, and develop the game further with the help of the community. Your input will directly influence the direction of the game, helping me improve gameplay, refine features, and create a better overall experience as we continue to evolve the game together.
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
My current plan is to keep InoLab Trials in Early Access for 6 months, during which I aim to complete the development of all 4 trials and polish the gameplay. However, depending on the feedback from players and the progress made, the Early Access period could extend up to 11 months to ensure the best possible experience.
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
We plan for the full version of InoLab Trials to include at least 4 fully completed trials, with the game being more polished and refined. We're also planning to introduce new features such as an anti-cheat system, sanction system, and player and base customization. Additionally, we aim to develop a system that allows for easier addition of more trials in future updates. The final version is intended to deliver a smoother, more seamless experience, and we hope to improve the game based on community feedback gathered during the Early Access phase.
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
Right now, InoLab Trials is in an early development stage. It currently features only two trial, Rise up and Maze shift which is about 30% complete each. The Centrial hub, where players can customize and interact, is only 10% complete. However, the game is heavily under development, and there will be regular updates to improve the current content and add new features and trials.
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
During Early Access, the price will be set at the lowest possible point. As new trials and features are added, the price will gradually increase to support ongoing development. For the final release, there will be a price change, but an announcement will be made beforehand to inform the community.
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
We plan to involve the community by gathering feedback on gameplay, balance, and mechanics through our discord channel and other feedback channels. Player input will help guide the development of new features, improve existing content, and ensure a better overall experience. We’ll regularly update the community on progress and incorporate their feedback to shape the direction of InoLab Trials.
