The game is currently in early access. As of December 2025, the build includes:
Multiple Maps: Including the new 'Avernus' map with unique biomes, the 'Pyrothar' mission map, and the 'Lucille' hangar hub.
Hybrid Gameplay: Fully functional RTS camera modes paired with third-person shooter mechanics.
Core Systems: A complete Loadout Builder, AI companion interactions (Gunny & ChenAI), a music player system, and Discord integration.
Progression: Functional 'Courage' virtual currency earning, save systems with checkpoints, and boss fights.
How often will you be updating the game during early access?
We are committed to a consistent update schedule. Throughout late 2025, we deployed major patches roughly once a month. These updates ranged from content drops (new maps like Avernus) to quality-of-life fixes (UI overhauls, save systems). We plan to maintain this momentum throughout Early Access.
Will the price change when the game leaves Early Access?
No. Operation Safe Place Defense is a Free-to-Play title and will remain free to play after leaving Early Access.
