Join us in shaping Permafrost into an unforgettable experience! By jumping in early, you’ll directly influence the game’s evolution with your feedback. We’ve built a solid foundation packed with content, but your ideas will help us polish mechanics, expand the world, and deliver a game that truly resonates with players.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

We don’t know yet. The idea is to stay in Early Access for at least 12 months and use this time to add more biomes, quests, mechanics, quality of life features and technical optimization. Your feedback will shape the game!

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

The basic premise of the game will stay the same, but we want to expand the game world with several new biomes, quests, NPCs, enemies, equipment and vehicles.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

Most planned core features of the game have been implemented and we already offer various biomes, hundreds of items, building blueprints and crafting recipes. The starting point of our narrative with plenty of side quests as well as cooperative multiplayer for up to 4 players are fully implemented and functional.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

It is very likely that the price will be increased over the course of the Early Access period leading up to a full 1.0 release. The price we are asking will always fairly reflect the content included and lower starting prices are a token of appreciation for your involvement during Early Access phase.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

Our Discord server will be the primary communications hub for our community and you will be welcome to suggest new features, provide feedback and get in touch with us developers directly.
