Why Early Access?

This game is a love letter to things we loved growing up: 90's cyberpunk, old school FPS games, cult movies and body horror.

We want Voltage High Society to be the best game possible for players who enjoy cyberpunk atmosphere, body horror, metroidvanias and retro aesthetics. In order to achieve this we need all the feedback we can get.

There's some ideas that expand the initial punching & taser gameplay, and some cool locations we really want to dig into.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

We are now closing the 1.0 release. The aim is to release it Q4/2025.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

All the basic functionalities listed in the "About this game" section are implemented. There is (carefully estimated) about 1-2 hours of gameplay including a couple of weapons, skills and two levels.

All of the initial content will be expanded & polished as the development of the game goes forward.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
