Latin American, Southeast Asian, and Frosty Games showcases 2025: The biggest news for Epic Games Store players

According to its organizers, the Latin American Games Showcase is “a platform that strives to increase the visibility of the video games being developed in the LATAM Region and Latin Americans in the World.” The Southeast Asian Games Showcase is here for “shining the spotlight on the best of Southeast Asian games.” Frosty Games Fest is a “new showcase of the coolest upcoming and recently released video games made in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.”

Latin American Games Showcase
Greak: Memories of Azur
Developer Navegante’s side-scrolling platformer puts players in the role of three siblings, alternating control of each as they make their way through the lands of Azur.
The game’s hand-drawn animations came to life during IGN Live 2025, with a trailer that focused on its mobile version. You can get Greak: Memories of Azur on the Epic Games Store right now.
Dreamcore
Dreamcore is a surreal psychological horror game told from the position of a body cam, and it got a new map today.
Developer Montraluz’s liminal space aesthetic and VHS-inspired visuals were at the core of its trailer, which focused on a new Playrooms map update. It’s every bit as creepy as you can imagine.

Tormented Souls 2
In Tormented Souls 2, a survival horror game from developer Dual Effect Games, protagonist Caroline Walker returns to visit the horrifying halls of haunted locations.
Its Latin American Games Showcase video teed up Tormented Souls 2’s story, which involves the eye-patched protagonist, a young girl, unfailingly spooky locations, a mysterious nun, and beautiful but eerie environments.

Despelote
Developers Julián Cordero and Sebastian Valbuena are making Despelote, a story about soccer and childhood set against the backdrop of 2001 Quito, Ecuador.
The game’s protagonist, 8-year-old Julián, took center stage in the video, and we saw the big city of Quito through his eyes. He explored the city indoors and out, kicked soccer balls and glass bottles, talked to other kids, and sometimes got yelled at by adults, all within the game’s high-contrast aesthetic.

Bogdan's Cross
Developer Federico Breser’s single-player game follows Bogdan, an anthropomorphic bear and former Templar, whose mission is to atone for his sins.
The story of redemption and faith underlies Bogdan's Cross, and we saw Bogdan’s journey from idyllic lands to supernatural battles in the game's trailer, as well as a mysterious horizontal bar at the bottom of the screen that measured Doubt Points on the left and Faith Points on the right. And that makes sense in a game whose trailer begins with text that reads “The greatest battle is not fought with swords, but within the depths of one’s own soul.” Although we should point out that Bogdan does pick up a Templar sword in the trailer, too.

Kernel Hearts
Kernel Hearts is a co-op roguelike action role-playing game from the developers at Ephemera Games.
During the trailer, we saw four magical girl protagonists fighting with spells and special powers to save the ash-choked world. We also got glimpses at leveling weapons, meeting characters, exploring cities, and battling to stop the ashes and save mankind.

Southeast Asian Games Showcase
Art is Rifle
Developer Arman Pakan’s Art Is Rifle is an open-world puzzle game from the perspective of a first-person shooter, set to the beat of rhythmic bullets.
During the Southeast Asian Games Showcase, we saw the psychedelic shooter in action, as untold balls bounced and walls and beams of light phased in and out of existence, all topped off with an announcement at the end that nine new visual styles are now available.

GigaBash
Developer Passion Republic Games’ GigaBash pits titans against mechs in a game inspired by kaiju films.
The multiplayer game’s Southeast Asian Games Showcase trailer showed off battles between monsters as big as the skyscrapers they fought next to, and the environments crumbled as the attacks flew. The trailer ended by letting everyone know that the Mechajuras DLC is free for all players.

Frosty Games Fest
Dredge
The developers of Dredge at Black Salt Games have made fishing dangerous.A quick Frosty Games Fest video showed off the game’s oceanic locations, where you can fish, explore, and make sometimes horrifically unexpected discoveries (one of which we could see in the trailer) thanks to the Christchurch, New Zealand-based team.
