We’re back to spotlight some of the announcements, DLCs, updates and more this week on the Epic Games Store! 

The action RPG with a plethora of Disney characters and worlds will return in 2027, and you can wishlist it right now on Epic Games Store.

Play as Sora—and other famous characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy—trying to escape Quadratum. The latest look at Kingdom Hearts IV revealed that there will be a world based on 2017’s Coco, while showing off Mickey’s varied gameplay segments. Enjoy!

The perfect collab really does exist: Battlefield 6’s latest mid-season event embraces 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick. The crossover brings iconic characters and hardware from the movie into the game, and builds game modes around the classic dogfights and massive carriers. 

According to Electronic Arts: “Take flight in the F/A-81F Super Spectre and F-74A Seacat, two new two-seat fighter jets built for pilots and their wingmen. Battle across the skies in Top Gun: Carrier Strike and Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep.”

Speaking of classics, Wake Island finally arrives in Battlefield 6, alongside three other maps. The perennial Pacific battle includes the newly added naval armory for all-out war. Battle it out on the ground, from the sky, and across the seas.

The Battlefield 6 🤝 Top Gun event will run until Sept. 15. 

The first major Stalker 2 expansion released on Aug. 20. Developers GSC revealed: “The longstanding conflict between the Zone’s leading factions — Duty and Freedom — takes a dramatic turn. As tensions rise and the fragile peace between them begins to unravel, the fate of the Zone hangs in the balance.”

You still play as Skif, and the dozens of hours of new content will be playable alongside the main game. The DLC includes new weapons, locations, anomalies, and mutants.

STALKER 2 also gets bumped up to 2.0, with some huge changes to the game. Graphics have been upgraded, A-Life has more variety and a better understanding of the world, there are a number of new difficulty sliders for a much more fine-tuned experience, more weapons and scopes, binoculars (!), and foggy weather that can roll in and blanket your senses.

The entire Stalker catalogue is on sale until Aug. 31, 2026.

Cause Mayhem on the streets of Gotham City in the Mayhem Collection. The DLC includes a new story mission where The Joker and Harley Quinn break out of Arkham Asylum, making them controllable characters.

Troubles arise when mutants from the game invade the real world, and it’s up to Jess and friends to stop them.
