Gamescom 2025: Your one-stop hub for ONL, news, hands-on, interviews, and showcases

Brian Crecente
August is all about one of the world’s largest video game expos, a massive celebration of all things video games that takes in the picturesque city of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
Each year, the gathering somehow manages to absolutely pack the 284,000 square-meter Koelnmesse, filling the city’s hotels and even establishing a temporary tent city along the nearby Rhine.
If you aren’t planning on attending the week-long party, we’ve got the next best thing right here: a one-stop hub for all things Gamescom and gaming. Bookmark this page (or whatever the kids do nowadays) and check back for our round-ups, hands-ons, and interviews. We'll add links to new stories to this page as they go live.
And don’t forget about our Gamescom landing page!
Let’s do this!
The Gamescom show floor

The Gamescom show floor is big, like big big. The hallways between the aircraft-hanger-sized halls look like enclosed roadways, and there are many of them. All of this—the halls, the hallways, and the surrounding area—is packed with an international mix of gaming fans standing in lines to get their hands on games, roaming the halls to check out the booths, eating, drinking, playing volleyball, you name it.
Even if you can make it to the show, it’s likely you’re not going to be able to get your mitts on everything that’s there. Fortunately, we have packed our days with interviews, hands-on, and the like. Check out the wealth of coverage below, and remember to check back as we update it throughout the remaining month.
