Alien: Isolation 2 is coming for you
Creative Assembly is back with a new Alien: Isolation.

In Alien: Isolation 2, Xenomorphs will be bringing their creeping, acidic brand of horror to an isolated colony on an isolated planet. We don’t know anymore about the game, but that’s enough for me. 

It’s been 12 years since the original Alien Isolation scares our collective pants off by forcing us to play hide-and-seek with the creeping creature in an abandoned space station.

We have a name!
Fumito Ueda, creator of ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian, announced the official name for his upcoming single-player, open-world action adventure game.

In gen ATLAS you awaken on an abandoned planet, with no idea how you got there. Before you lies a vast, silent world. Colossal structures stretch over endless plains, deserted facilities, and an ever-changing sea. The remnants of some grand design litter the planet’s surface. 

This new trailer shows a seemingly desolate land being explored by the detached head of some nameless colossus. When the two join together the large entity seems to help the diminutive main character on his journey.

We got our first look at gen ATLAS back in 2024 during The Game Awards with a world premiere trailer. That video starts off with the sound of a voice speaking and then seemingly counting. Then we hear what sounds like the roar of an ocean, and as a cloaked figure scrambles their way onto the shoulder of a massive robot, we see a wall of inky, tumbling black approaching.

The protagonist climbs to the top of the robot’s skull and the large head slowly pulls away from the shoulders, ripping away cables and a bit of spinal cord as it lifts into the air.

The approaching darkness turns the air gray and we see large objects begin colliding with the body, left behind. The forsaken body finally explodes and disappears as the screen fades to black and we see the logo for genDESIGN.

For years, fans have speculated wildly about genDesign's next game. We first saw indications that genDesign was working on something in 2018, when the company released a New Years image that showed a white figure on a pedestal near a large hand-like structure. This was followed up with a 2021 postcard that showed a figure beneath a strange mechanical structure.

Dead by Daylight gets a birthday 

It’s been ten years of chasing, running, and dying

The online asymmetric multiplayer survival horror game, Dead by Daylight, is slowly absorbing the entire horror genre, so it should be surprising to anyone that the game hits its ten year anniversary this month.

To celebrate the upcoming anniversary, Behaviour Interactive released a truly creepy trailer featuring a very unsettling rendition of “Happy Birthday.”

The trailer concluded with an invitation to the June 14. celebration.
 

Control Resonant hits on Sept. 24
The talented devs at Remedy Entertainment showed off a new trailer for Control Resonant and announced the game hits on Sept. 24, 2026.

In it we return to see that The Oldest House, from the original Control, has fallen and that reality and time, well they’re not alright.

CONTROL Resonant has players exploring an open-ended, imaginative sandbox as Dylan, brother of the first game’s protagonist Jesse Faden. The developer says this is the largest and richest environment Remedy has ever constructed for a game and the trailer seems to prove it, showing the visual diversity of paranaturally twisted Manhattan and its enemy factions.

End of Abyss releases on Oct. 1
I was struck by how darkly brooding and deeply atmospheric End of Abyss is when I checked it out last summer.

And this new trailer only underscores the unsettling, minimalist look of the game. The top-down sci-fi horror title from Section 9 Interactive continues to prove it will be worth your time when it hits this fall.

Crossfire by That's No Moon

No, this isn’t the 2007 online tactical first-person shooter from Smilegate Entertainment that for a while was the biggest game in the world. It’s a new entry in the massively popular franchise, this time created by the indie AAA studio That’s No Moon Entertainment.

Developed in collaboration with Smilegate, this new Crossfire is a single-player, third-person tactical action adventure. The trailer highlights the title’s cinematic, grounded approach to stealth combat.

The game will tell the story of Layla and Cross, two enemy operators who “forge a fraught alliance to survive a lethal existential threat.”

That’s right, the game hasn’t been out that long, and everyone seems to be loving it, but it already has some new content.

We don’t know much about what to expect other than the above short trailer and the final words found in it: Bawma will return.

1666: Amsterdam announced with free playable prologue

The studio behind Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, unveiled their next big thing tonight: 1666: Amsterdam, a dark, third-person story-driven action-adventure game.

Better still, creative director Patrice Desilets took to the stage to announce that there was a free playable prologue for the game available now on Epic Games Store and Steam.

The prologue is described as a “standalone narrative teaser,” and lasts about 30 minutes, giving players a chance to check out the world, characters, and core mystery of 1666: Amsterdam.

Here’s what the studio tells us about the title:

“In the game, entities known as the Originals have lived among its people for centuries, granted time, granted power, and the freedom to abuse both. That power is now owed.

Noa Brooklyn was born the Collector, raised by the Zaindaris for a purpose she did not choose.

Aaron, drawn from 1999, now sees the world through the eyes of a cat.

This is where the cycle begins.

Before the first Esbat. Before the Collector realizes what awaits her.

The Prologue of 1666: Amsterdam offers a first glimpse into a world shaped by centuries of hidden influence. Step into Noa’s Commencement as she takes on the mantle of the Collector, and begins to understand the role she was born to fulfill.

Lords of the Fallen 2 shows off a dragon and katana

A brand new trailer for Lords of the Fallen II hit tonight, giving us a look at The Battle for Thorngar.

The video gives us a deeper look at the upcoming titles' intense combat and expansive dark fantasy world. We also get a look at a new location, Ysiguen, a sprawling biom inspired, in part, by Asian mythology with twisted pagodas, horned courtesans, and a lighting dragon named Lingao the Souring Storm.

The trailer also shows off a new katana-based weapon class, a long-request addition to the game’s arsenal.

The Wolf Amont Us 2, for reals

As Keighley put it, it's been a long, long, long eight years.

But last night we finally got a chance to see what The Wolf Among Us 2 will look like when it hits in 2027. The neon-noir thriller has Bigby Wolf confronting the monster within that threatens the future of Fabletown.

The trailer also announced that the original The Wolf Among Us will be hitting this holiday as The Wolf Among Us Remastered.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer hot goss 

You can’t have Mos Espa Circuit racing without a little bit of drama and the new Star Wars: Galactic Racer story trailer delivers.

Watch the trailer and you’ll learn about Kestar Bool, star of the Outer Rim’s Galactic League, and the sinister way he works to extend his reach. Of course there’s a grudge as well. Shade doesn’t like the entire Bool family and he’s also an up and comer hoping to unseat Bool.

The trailer gives you a run down of all the goss, while also another look at the multiple game modes coming to the title when it hits on Oct. 6.

Milestone, the studio behind Screamer and Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is bringing us another crazy How Wheels racer.

Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush looks to be toy-powered open-world racer with some crazy set pieces, and of course over-the-top orange tracks.

The new Star Wars: Zero Company trailer didn’t just show off new characters and planets, but also announced that General Anakin Skywalker will be in the game we well

The trailer dives into how the turn-based tactical game from Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment will play as you guide your team through the Clone Wars-era missions.

Go sub-arctic with Haex

We got our first glimpse of the open world survival shooter HAEX during the show.

The game, in development by Dead Astronauts, is expected to land in early access in 2027 and supports one to four players.

Players are dispatched to an anomaly detected in the sub-arctic north after a science team sent to investigate disappears. Players will have to “survive an alien-scarred wilderness” while they reshape the world, craft weapons and gear and try to sort out what happened.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation hits Spring 27

A look at the final chapter of the Final Fantasy VII remake project, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, wrapped up this year's Summer Game Fest. 

As the world teeters on the brink of annihilation, the final battle against Sephiroth begins, according to the reveal trailer. A meteor mars the sky, monstrous planetary guardians wreak havoc across the globe, and the fires of war rage. Now, Cloud and his companions must stand against this chaos to not only decide the planet's fate, but bring a legendary conflict to its conclusion.

The game launches simultaneously on all platforms.
